AI Credits

AI Credits power design-time AI features in Studio and the web console — Map Edit AI Action, recorder analysis, and failure analysis — without requiring you to paste a provider API key. Credits are billed in Brazilian Real (R$) on your Klango account.

What AI Credits are for

When you use Klango AI, the cloud calls OpenAI with a platform key and deducts the token cost from your wallet. Typical uses:

Studio — AI Action / AI Assist blocks in Map Edit
Studio — recorder Analyzer / Mapper suggestions
Web console — History Analyze / Visual Analyse (when no personal key is set)

Note — Bot runtime never spends AI Credits. Published bots do not call LLMs unless you build that yourself with your own keys.

R$ 5,00 signup gift

Every new account receives R$ 5,00 in AI Credits when the account is created (email register or Google). The gift is one-time per account.

Existing accounts that never had a wallet yet receive the same gift the first time they open Account → AI Creditsafter the cloud backend update is deployed.

Bring your own API key (optional)

You can always add your own Anthropic, OpenAI, or Gemini key in the local console under Preferences → API Keys (LLM). When a workspace key is selected, that call uses your key and does not spend AI Credits.

Tip — Prefer BYOK for heavy or vision workloads; use Klango AI Credits for quick trials and onboarding without configuring providers.

Under Buy credits (PIX), enter amount (minimum R$ 5,00), name, phone, and CPF, then generate a PIX QR code
After payment confirms, refresh the tab — balance updates automatically

Top-ups are 1:1 — R$ 10,00 paid adds R$ 10,00 to your AI wallet.

Using credits on your local install

Self-hosted Studio / Backend use the cloud wallet only when the station is activated (Preferences → Station) for the account owner. Then:

LLM key list includes a KlangoAI — AI Credits option
If no personal key exists, completions fall back to AI Credits automatically
Insufficient balance shows an error with a link back to /account to top up

How usage is priced

Each completion is priced from token usage (input + output) using the cloud model pricing table. The platform path currently uses OpenAI gpt-4o-mini. Very small calls still debit a tiny floor so the wallet always moves.

Note — Execution-plan limits (Free / trial bot runs per month) are separate from AI Credits. Buying AI Credits does not change your execution quota, and vice versa.
